A gorgeous Australian perennial with slender, grass-like leaves and clusters of bright yellow flowers on tall stems, highly attractive to pollinators.

A stunning floral feature in Australian gardens. Although be aware – there is a lot of variability in the habit and flower size for the varieties that I have seen sold in nurseries. Ideally see it in flower when buying to look for one that holds the flowers on tall firm stems like the ones from my garden shown in the photographs.

Prefers sandy, well-drained soils in full sun. Drought-tolerant once established. Prune spent flower stems to maintain neat appearance.
