Dampiera stricta ‘Glasshouse Glory’

Botanical Name: Dampiera stricta Glasshouse Glory

Common Name: Dampiera stricta Glasshouse Glory

Average Height (cm): 30

Average Width (cm): 50

Description:

A low-growing, spreading perennial with vibrant blue/purple fan-shaped flowers and fine green foliage.

Garden Design Uses:

This small plant lightly suckers but does not dominate a garden bed, making it a great companion for other small growing natives. In my garden I grow it among Chrysocephalum apiculatum which makes a stunning combination!

It would look beautiful in a hanging basket too and is useful for the edges of garden borders and wildflower meadows.

Care:

Thrives in sandy, well-drained soils with full sun to partial shade. Drought-tolerant once established. Prune lightly after flowering to maintain compact growth.
