A soft pink-flowering variety of the popular Hardenbergia. Its elegant, cascading blooms make it a stunning feature in any garden.

I don’t know why this gorgeous Hardenbergia variety isn’t sold more widely, as it’s quite adaptable, hardy and so incredibly pretty when in flower.

For a long time I had it growing on the south side of a high fence – a position that was mostly full shade. I planted it there when I was new to gardening and didn’t know better. And it flowered beautifully every year, although didn’t put on many new leaves due to the lack of light. In a sunny position it really must be spectacular. I have one now in a good spot and look forward to a stunning display come late next winter.

Perfect for trellises, arbours, growing on the side of structures and on fences provided it gets good sun. You could also allow it to meander down a steep bank or over a high retaining wall.  It could also be nice to grow in a hanging basket, although I haven’t tried that as yet. Popular with pollinators and ideal for native cottage gardens. It’s adds soft, romantic tones wherever you choose to grow it!

Thrives in well-drained soils under full sun to partial shade. Prune lightly after flowering to promote fresh growth and maintain its naturally neat habit.
