A beautiful climber with bright coral-red pea-like flowers and dark green foliage, ideal for covering fences or trellises.

Perfect for covering fences and other structures and not a heavy climber like the very large Pandoreas. It’s a great climber companion for Hardenbergia which is how I like to grow it as you can see in the pictures. Growing them together gives you a longer flowering period and they will grow happily together without dominating each other.

Needs well-drained soils in full sun to partial shade. Regular watering during establishment is essential but it does need good drainage and dislikes heavy summer rain. Prune lightly to control growth and shape. Can be bothered by leaf miner – use Eco Neem regularly if you don’t like the leaf damage, but it has no impact on flowering.

I am currently testing it in my sub-tropical garden but it is yet to flower.
