A delightful small Australian annual wildflower with dainty papery-like flowers in shades of pink, with a yellow centre. It creates a cheerful display in wildflower gardens.

Perfect for wildflower meadows, borders, and cottage gardens. Its papery blooms are also popular for dried arrangements.

It is small but has an upright habit – holding the clusters of flowers high above the leaves, making it a good planting companion for other small wildflowers and simply perfect for a wildflower meadow design.

Would also look gorgeous as a feature in an annual potted display. Perhaps surrounded by low growing white pompom flowers or with perennial Wahlenbergia stricta.

Thrives in sandy, well-drained soils in full sun but in my experience is quite adaptable, growing well even in a sub-tropical climate if given good drainage. Requires minimal watering once established. Deadhead spent flowers to encourage prolonged blooming.
