A compact perennial Australian native paper daisy with sticky green foliage and vibrant yellow, papery flowers. This gorgeous perennial is long lived and easy care. Once established it can be pruned hard and will spring back to life. But you would do better to prune regularly when young as you will be treated to a profusion of flowers.

Grows quite tall and narrow with the flowers held high, making it useful for wildflower meadows. Also a striking perennial feature flower for native pollinator friendly verge gardens. In flowering borders it would be better placed further back surrounded by other close planted shrubs for a little support. Very tolerant of different growing conditions and soil types.

Thrives in sandy, well-drained soils under full sun. Drought-tolerant once established and not prone to any garden pests. Remove spent flowers to encourage continued blooming. The flowers make great cut flower specimens as they have lovely long stems and last a long time in the vase. You can also dry the flowers.
